Swamp Cypress (Taxodium distichum). It is also known as ‘Bald Cypress’. The tree is native to the southern United States and the Everglades of Florida in particular. This is another deciduous conifer, but contrasting with the Dawn Redwood in its domed shape, finely arranged foliage and slow growth rate. It produces good autumn colour.
