This website was completed as part of a M.A. in Digital Media, at National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG). The course came under the direction of three NUIG departments: The Huston School of Film and Digital Media, the Information Technology Department and the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI). Ms Valerie Butler was the course director of the M.A. in Digital Media and Mr Rod Stoneman was Director of the Huston School of Film & Digital Media.
Source of content primarily came from Mr Brian Finan, retired head gardener of NUIG and Dr Mary Forrest, UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science, Belfield, Dublin 4.
This project was launched at Galway Fringe Arts festival, 2013.
NUIG’s Building and Facilities offices supported this project by allowing the the placement of the QR codes onto trees.
