Red Bark Birch 6561 June – Right Front

Red Bark Birch  (Betula albosinensis var septentrionalis). It is also known as Northern Chinese Red Birch. This particular tree is a fine specimen of a birch normally grown for the peeling cinnamon coloured bark. The large leaves are lanceolate in shape. Source: Dr Mary Forrest, UCD.
